Job summary

ADP is seeking a Collections Specialist to support delinquent and overdrawn accounts, assessing needs and offering suitable financial solutions. You will interact with members to resolve past-due items while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and the credit union’s policies.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and confidentiality in a remote work environment after training. The position emphasizes prompt, respectful member service and accurate documentation of collection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1–2 years collections and/or lending experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite / O365.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external collections questions via phone, email, or in person.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and generate reports to determine corrective actions.
• Prepare bankruptcy packages and other documents for legal proceedings when needed.
• Track and document delinquent status and communicate with members to arrange payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all laws and credit union policies.
• Provide financial counseling to members to improve their financial well-being.
