Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Coding Supervisor to lead a remote, multi-site coding team supporting Veterans Affairs medical centers across VISN 7. You will ensure compliant coding for inpatient and outpatient services, coach coders, and drive productivity while maintaining high accuracy.

The role requires RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CPC/CPC-H credentials and at least 3 years of supervisory coding experience in a VA/HIMS context. This is a fully remote, 12-month term with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Active credential required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CPC/CPC-H).
• Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience with supervisory or QA responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, DRGs, E/M, NCCI).
• Experience with VA/VHA HIMS environments and systems preferred.
• Ability to work with VA leaders, clinicians, and distributed teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a distributed coding team across multiple facilities.
• Ensure coding accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with VA policies.
• Coach coders, monitor productivity and quality, and address denials or documentation issues.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and training materials.
• Coordinate back-end record reviews and training per VA requirements.
