Qualifications

• Must hold national coding or documentation-improvement credentials upon hire.
• Five years in medical insurance reimbursement, billing, coding related to charge review and RVUs.
• Five years reviewing patient accounts, explanations of benefits, and financial records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinician/coder training and department education.
• Identify, develop, and deliver coding and clinical documentation improvement education.
• Conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews/audits and educate based on findings.
