Providence is seeking a Revenue Integrity Coding Educator to advance accurate coding across specialties through auditing medical records and translating CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS requirements into practical education.

The role involves creating training materials, coaching providers and teams, and monitoring outcomes to strengthen coding quality and reimbursement accuracy. This is a fully remote position with the Providence team.

Formación

• Must possess certification from AAPC or other AHIMA certification as listed.
• Minimum 5 years experience in medical insurance reimbursement, medical billing, and coding related to charge review and RVUs.
• Experience reviewing patient account information, insurance explanations of benefits, computer screens, and financial records.

Responsabilidades

• Lead audits of medical record documentation and coded services to advance accurate, compliant, and optimized coding.
• Develop and deliver training materials; educate providers, coders, and operational teams.
• Identify trends in documentation, charge capture, denials, and workflows; partner with Revenue Cycle leaders to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor outcomes to strengthen coding quality, reimbursement accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
