Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Hospital Coding and Physician Practice Coding departments.
• Educate physicians on coding and documentation guidelines; provide coder feedback.
• Monitor audits, coding accuracy, productivity, and case-mix index; implement corrective actions.
