Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer for a remote-based role with up to 80% travel across North America. The position supports Rollomatic and Strausak machines, with base pay starting at $40/hour W2, plus overtime and travel compensation.

Two local openings in Mundelein/Greater Chicago area and one in Detroit/Cleveland region. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems, install and commission CNC grinding machines, and provide technical

Qualifications

Hands-on CNC machine experience is mandatory.
Experience in at least two of mechanical troubleshooting and repair, electrical troubleshooting and repair, or field service.
Ability to travel up to 80% across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Technical field service and repairs on Rollomatic and Strausak CNC and non-CNC machines.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation to diagnose issues.
Install and commission new CNC grinding machines at customer facilities across North America.
Provide after-sales support and customer guidance to ensure satisfaction.
