Job summary

BlackHawk Data is seeking a Cloudflare Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Cloudflare solutions across customer environments. You will work with engineering, operations, and customers to ensure effective integration and performance within hybrid and remote settings.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Cloudflare expertise across DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS, and Zero Trust, plus experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and automation tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Cloudflare technologies in production environments.
• Experience across multiple Cloudflare products and services.
• Experience working with enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience working directly with customers on technical implementations.
• Cloudflare certifications or training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Cloudflare solutions across customer environments (Cloudflare DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing).
• Serve as SME for Cloudflare technologies and assist with onboarding and migration to Cloudflare platform.
• Implement and support Cloudflare networking, security, application delivery, and Zero Trust solutions.
• Configure and manage Cloudflare DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS Protection, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing, and related services.
• Implement Cloudflare Zero Trust (Access, Gateway, Tunnel, Cloudflare One/SASE).
• Review existing Cloudflare environments and recommend improvements for security, performance, availability, and architecture.
