Job summary

Entelligence is seeking a Cloudflare Consultant to support a client in a remote USA role. The candidate will act as a dedicated technical bridge between the customer’s needs and Cloudflare’s security suite, guiding migration from legacy systems to modern configurations.

You will lead technical initiatives, optimize application services, and ensure strong security posture while working cross-functionally with Entelligence, Cloudflare, and the end-user.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Resident Engineer, Professional Services Consultant or similar, ideally in cloud networking, security, or web infrastructure.
• 3+ years hands-on experience managing Cloudflare environments, mapping legacy CDN and security features to Cloudflare’s ecosystem.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/JavaScript/Bash) and willingness to expand.
• Deep technical proficiency configuring WAF, Bot Management, and Page Shield.
• Foundational knowledge of BGP, GRE/IPsec tunneling, and DDoS mitigation (Magic Transit).
• Excellent verbal and written communication for engineers and executives.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical, scalable Cloudflare solutions.
• Prior customer onsite placement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Trusted Advisor: day-to-day technical lead and Cloudflare SME.
• Own tuning, configuration, and policy creation for Application Services for performance and security.
• Oversee health of Network Services including Magic Transit and DDoS protection.
• Translate legacy workflows into modern Cloudflare configurations.
• Collaborate with the customer for future expansions into Workers and Zero Trust architecture.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the environment and procedures.
