Job summary

Tusker seeks a Help Desk Specialist to deliver frontline support for hardware, software, and network issues across managed services. You will handle trouble tickets, perform remote desktop and server support, and monitor service health for our maintenance customers, ensuring timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in computer/networking roles, strong communication, and a focus on accurate documentation and customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of workstations, servers, security, wireless, and network infrastructure.
• General knowledge of Networking Service industry and products.
• 1+ year of computer/networking experience.
• HS diploma or GED with post-secondary education in field.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support to customers, including remote desktop and server support.
• Monitor and perform routine server health checks for maintenance customers.
• Track progress on tickets to ensure SLA timelines are met.
• Escalate unresolved tickets to Service/Engineering Manager.
• Provide and analyze reports on health and service history of contracted customers.
