Job summary

Cencora seeks a Senior Director of Cloud Security to lead global cloud security strategy, architecture, and governance across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will secure IaaS/PaaS, SaaS, and containerized workloads while enabling digital transformation and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with the CISO and technology leaders to establish scalable defense capabilities, build a high-performing team, and drive risk-based decision making across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 8+ years in information security leadership; 12+ years directly related experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CCSP/CISSP/CISM/SC-100 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise cloud security strategy across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead cloud security governance across AWS, Azure, GCP and SaaS providers.
• Own cloud security policy framework and control standards aligned to NIST/ISO 27001/SOC 2/HITRUST/PCI/HIPAA.
• Establish secure-by-design and DevSecOps models; drive automation with IaC and policy-as-code.
• Oversee cloud logging, telemetry, and SIEM/SOAR integration; coordinate incident response planning.
• Build and lead a global cloud security team; set KPIs/OKRs and reporting dashboards.
• Partner with risk management, Legal/Privacy, and development teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
