Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director of Vulnerability Management to lead the end-to-end program across cloud, on-prem, endpoints, and containers. You will design scanning, risk-based prioritization, and remediation with engineering and executives.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, enterprise experience, and deep knowledge of CVSS/EPSS, cloud security, and SCA/SDLC security concepts. Collaboration with multiple teams and clear executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in vulnerability management.
• Experience building or maturing enterprise vulnerability programs.
• Hands-on with Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for the end-to-end vulnerability management program.
• Define risk-based remediation SLAs by asset criticality and severity.
• Lead continuous, risk-based exposure management across environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to validate controls and remediation effectiveness.
• Report KPIs and KRIs to executive leadership.
