Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to embed security across the CI/CD lifecycle in AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role emphasizes automation, guardrail design, and scalable security controls in a cloud-native environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly technical, automation-driven, and able to mentor engineers while advancing security across the team. Remote work is available within the United States (California excluded).

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software development, DevOps, or IaC
• Hands-on CSPM engineering experience
• Experience deploying containerized applications
• Declarative infrastructure environments with Terraform
• Experience in AWS/Azure/GCP environments
• Ability to design, implement, and validate cloud security controls

Responsibilities

• Researches, recommends and implements changes to enhance cloud security as part of our cloud transformation.
• Design security solutions in public cloud ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Develop and understand Jack Henry public cloud strategy and identify gaps in coverage.
• Collaborate with Digital Cloud DevOps to integrate security into workflows.
• Lead security design reviews and vendor recommendations.
• Create security architecture docs based on specs.
• Review designs to verify compliance with specs.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD workflows using GitHub tools and GitOps patterns.
• Champion Security as Code from design to deployment.
• Operate CSPM across AWS, Azure, and GCP; promote production-grade security controls.
• Perform ongoing cloud control effectiveness evaluations and contribute to security architecture.
• Use Terraform to deploy guardrails and security infrastructure.
• Develop Python-based automation for monitoring, remediation and CI/CD integrations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
