Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, build, and harden cloud infrastructure with IaC security controls and automated compliance. You’ll partner with engineering leadership to embed security in the CI/CD pipeline and drive secure cloud architecture.

The role requires 5–8+ years in security engineering with a focus on AWS, containerization, and cloud-native patterns. This position is mostly remote with some offices; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of dedicated security engineering experience with a strong focus on AWS security, cloud-native architecture, and DevSecOps.
• Experience building security infrastructure from the ground up and serving as the primary architect of the security domain.
• Proven track record implementing CSPM and CWPP tooling and embedding automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Startup experience and excellent verbal and written communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud-specific threat landscapes; identify risks from public cloud misconfigurations.
• Triage alerts from CSPM and cloud-native tools; conduct forensic investigations.
• Embed automated security monitoring, alerting, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines via infrastructure-as-code.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud systems and own the cloud security domain.
• Support DLP, SaaS risk management, and hardening initiatives across the cloud ecosystem.
• Document standards and mentor engineers; communicate security concerns to non-technical stakeholders.
