Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help build and operate core cloud infrastructure for our Digital Cloud team.

You will design scalable systems in Google Cloud Platform and work with development teams to improve reliability and delivery velocity. The role emphasizes Go/Python development, Kubernetes deployment, Terraform-based infrastructure, and CI/CD tooling, with responsibilities spanning design, debugging, and collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Development, DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands-on in deploying and managing infrastructure in Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Terraform in declarative service infrastructure environments.
• Experience with GCP, Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Programming experience in Go or Python and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and build core infrastructure systems for development teams.
• Debug production infrastructure issues with root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Design and operate resilient systems with automated workload movement and failure avoidance.
• Leverage Go/Python to enhance platform solutions and developer velocity.
• Collaborate to promote engineering best practices and keep pace with product needs.
• Engineer technical challenges and drive them to completion.
