Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design, implement, and govern secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will partner with Engineering, DevOps, and IT to embed security into CI/CD, establish IAM baselines, and ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.

This remote-first role requires in-person interviews. You will lead security reviews, develop reference architectures, and mentor teams while staying current on cloud threat landscapes and emerging

Qualifications

• 5 years of cloud security or security architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience securing workloads in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, and key management in cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud security tooling (CSPM/CWPP platforms).
• Demonstrated container and Kubernetes security experience.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud architecture patterns across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards, reference architectures, and guardrails.
• Lead security reviews of new cloud initiatives from design through deployment.
• Architect and oversee IAM strategies including least-privilege access and RBAC.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure cloud design principles.
