Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead IT SailPoint Security Architect to shape security architecture and governance across enterprise IT. You will lead SailPoint ISC deployment, drive SoD controls, and partner with stakeholders to align security with business goals.

The role requires deep IAM expertise, strong communication, and experience with compliance frameworks. Remote-friendly within the United States, with occasional travel to corporate offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive IT experience and three years as a security architect or related role.
• Strong ability to partner with IT and business stakeholders and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience designing access governance, certification, role management, and identity lifecycle management solutions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH).

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of SailPoint ISC platform.
• Enhance and maintain SoD access governance process with business, Audit, and application teams.
• Create security architecture standards for adoption of new technology.
• Identify and quantify security risks and provide design requirements for IT projects.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to define information security strategy and direction.
• Develop dashboards aligned to standards to inform senior leadership about security risk.
• Evaluate security software/hardware and its integration with existing architecture.
• Perform third party security risk assessments, especially for cloud providers.
• Support SOX, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance programs.
