Job summary

Logistics Management Institute seeks a Platform Engineer to design, operate, and secure cloud platforms in AWS and Azure for a Department of War mission partner. You will implement automation, support deployments, and work with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission teams to deliver reliable cloud services.

Responsibilities include configuring infrastructure, maintaining IaC, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, operating, or supporting cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Experience with automation tooling to provision, configure, and deploy infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IP networking, DNS, routing, and cloud service connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Provision compute, storage, networking, and identities; coordinate app connectivity with teams.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and scripts for repeatable deployments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, releases, and rollback processes.
• Manage security controls, secrets, and access permissions with cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain monitoring, dashboards, logs, alerts to assess platform health and performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents; document root causes and implement fixes.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and patch management with security teams.
• Update architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and runbooks.
