Job summary

Redwood Logistics LLC is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to enhance the reliability, security, and cost efficiency of Azure, AWS, Windows Server, and network environments. The role emphasizes managed cloud services, IaC with Terraform, and on-site network support in Chicago and other locations.

You will configure Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and monitor Sentinel; lead security governance and threat detection improvements; collaborate with teams for deployments and continuity; and participate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting an enterprise in a team environment.
• Cloud networking experience with Azure and AWS.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments at scale.
• Cisco or Meraki experience; Palo Alto a plus.
• Azure certification (AZ-104/AZ-500) a plus.
• PowerShell scripting for automation; Python or Bash a plus.
• IaC using Terraform; version-controlled modules.
• On-site network hardware support in Chicago and sites as needed.
• Familiarity with zero trust networking, segmentation, and security zoning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
• Configure Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, and PIM.
• Deploy and monitor Microsoft Sentinel for cloud SIEM and automated responses.
• Support Windows Server lifecycle and hybrid networking.
• Lead identity governance and audit readiness.
• Develop IaC with Terraform for repeatable deployments and compliance.
• Integrate AI-powered security tools to improve threat detection and response times.
• Collaborate with teams for deployments and business continuity.
• Create runbooks and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide on-call support for production systems.
