Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform and Data Engineer to support a federal government client. You will build and secure AWS infrastructure, support Salesforce integrations, and drive CI/CD pipelines in a primarily US-based remote role.

Required 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce and AWS experience, with Terraform/Docker/Kubernetes, and strong data/API skills. This full-time W‑2 position requires US residency and DHS eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, data engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands‑on professional experience with Salesforce platform, AWS, and integration capabilities.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure: Build, deploy, maintain, and optimize AWS infrastructure for secure, scalable apps.
• Salesforce Platform Support: Support Salesforce-based solutions and connected systems with integration and data access.
• Integration & Data Management: APIs, data ingestion, ETL between Salesforce and AWS-hosted apps.
• CI/CD & Delivery Automation: Create automated pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code: Manage configurations with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Containers & Microservices: Deploy and operate Docker-based microservices with Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Use monitoring/logging to improve availability and performance.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve infra/app/API/data issues; automate recurring tasks.
• Security & Compliance: Apply security, encryption, IAM, and secrets management for federal requirements.
• Testing & Documentation: Add automated tests; maintain docs and procedures.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile teams and cross-functional reviews.
