Job summary

Arcarithm in Huntsville, AL seeks a Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, high‑performance networks spanning on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will work at customer sites in Huntsville with hands‑on cloud networking, SDN, and Kubernetes networking experience. A 5+ year background and a bachelor's in CS/EE/IT are required. Flexible schedules including remote work are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional networking experience with cloud and SDN.
• Experience with cloud networking services (VPC, VNets, peering, transit gateways).
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS.
• Direct experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting networking in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure networks across cloud and on‑premise resources.
• Implement network segmentation, access controls, and policy enforcement.
• Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Configure SDN platforms and hardware‑based network appliances.
• Integrate networking with Kubernetes using CNI plugins.
• Automate network provisioning with IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Provide clear documentation and runbooks for network solutions.
