Job summary

Vervic Inc. is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, high-performance networks spanning on-premise data centers, public cloud environments, and enclave-based domains. You will work at customer sites in Huntsville, collaborating with security, DevOps, and application teams.

The role emphasizes SDN, Kubernetes networking, and automation using IaC, with strong emphasis on security, reliability, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing secure, restricted networks across cloud and on-premise domains.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (VPC, VNets, peering, transit gateways).

Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy Secure Networks across cloud and on-premise resources.
• Cloud & Multicast Networking: manage cloud networking infra (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multicast UDP traffic.
• Software-Defined & Hardware-Defined Networking: deploy and maintain SDN platforms and hardware appliances; integrate with Kubernetes via CNI plugins.
• Hybrid Cloud Integration: connect remote cloud instances to on-premise data centers; support hybrid architectures.
• Automation & Monitoring: IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring/logging.
• Collaboration & Documentation: work with security, DevOps, and app teams; create runbooks and docs for network solutions.
