Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, Linux upgrades, and modernization for EPA ICIS. The role emphasizes RHEL, AWS, automation, and security across development and production environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Linux administration skills and experience with infrastructure upgrades, scripting, and recovery testing. Federal experience is preferred but not required; remote work is available.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional systems engineering or infrastructure support.
Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable enterprise Linux admin experience.
Experience with AWS cloud environments and OS upgrades.

Responsibilities

Support RHEL upgrades from 7 to 9, including configuration and troubleshooting.
Configure and maintain enterprise Linux servers.
Support AWS-hosted development environments.
Assist with automation, deployment scripts, and configuration management.
Implement disaster recovery configurations and participate in testing.
Maintain consistency across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Support Java/Oracle WebLogic modernization.
Assist with NGN deployments and integration troubleshooting.
Monitor performance, capacity, security.
Perform patching, hardening, remediation, and updates.
