Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting an Intermediate Developer to remotely support the EPA ICIS contract. The role focuses on modernizing legacy Java applications, upgrading frameworks, and ensuring reliable ICIS operations.

You will work with senior engineers and EPA stakeholders in a fast-paced federal environment. Ideal candidates have hands-on Java/J2EE experience, familiarity with SAP Business Objects, Oracle WebLogic, and REST/XML integrations, plus Agile development practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional application development experience.
• Strong hands-on Java/J2EE programming experience.
• Experience with Spring, Struts, or comparable Java frameworks.
• Experience troubleshooting application compatibility issues and managing software dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization of legacy Java applications and migrate Java versions.
• Upgrade and maintain Spring, Struts, and related libraries.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot APIs, web services, and data integrations.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and refactor legacy code to improve performance and security.
