Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting a Linux Systems Administrator to support the USAMRIID contract at Fort Detrick, MD. You will manage Linux (RHEL), virtualization, storage, and HPC elements in a DoD security conscious environment.

The role requires 5+ years in Linux admin, an active Secret clearance to start, and an IAT II certification. Expect hands-on duties with 99.9% uptime, STIG compliance, and collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Active Secret Clearance to Start.
• IAT II certification to Start (e.g., Security+).
• Advanced Linux knowledge, shell scripting, and CLI tools.
• Experience with virtualization, networking, and independent issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Manage VxRail/VMware infrastructure for 99.9% uptime.
• Harden systems to STIG, patch across networks, and monitor health.
• Support SAN/NAS storage and backup solutions (Isilon, ECS, Veeam).
• Administer HPC clusters, SLURM/PBS, and container platforms (Docker, Singularity).
• Collaborate with DoD stakeholders and support DoD Enterprise Email.
