Job summary
Banner Health Corporate seeks an experienced Director of Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Operations to lead enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms. You will set strategy, governance, and roadmaps, guiding modernization and reliability initiatives while partnering with product and engineering teams to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.
This senior role requires strong leadership, cloud implementation expertise, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective
Qualifications
- 10+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams
- 5+ years leading microservices cloud architecture at scale with Kubernetes
- Experience with AI development tools
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and large-scale migrations
- Proven ability to create cloud operating models, roadmaps, and cost optimization
Responsibilities
- Define cloud strategy and platform standards with measurable adoption targets
- Own cloud operating model including service catalog, SLAs, and governance
- Create cloud roadmap and investment plan with modernization milestones
- Lead application rewrite and DC-to-Cloud migration initiatives
- Ensure security, observability, reliability, and cost-efficient operations
- Build and lead a high-performing cloud architecture organization
