Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable is seeking an IT Engineer to own identity systems, cloud IAM, and endpoint management across Windows and macOS. You will design security policies, automate provisioning and patching, and support integrations via REST APIs in a largely remote role with occasional in-person facility support.

You should have 5+ years in IT, strong IAM and cloud experience, and familiarity with SOC 2/ISO 27001. Certifications such as AWS SysOps or Google Workspace Admin are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support, with dedicated time in a Systems Administrator or IT Engineering role.
• Degree in Tech/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.
• AWS SysOps or Google Workspace Administrator certifications preferred.
• Deep expertise in IAM, Google Workspace, and cloud-first environment design.

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Manage full user lifecycle including onboarding, access changes, and offboarding.
• Design and enforce security policies including least-privilege, conditional access, and MFA.
• Translate business access requirements from non-technical stakeholders into secure configurations.
• Own Windows and macOS endpoint management using NinjaOne as the central platform.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and software deployment through scripting and zero-touch enrollment.
• Build automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to reduce manual work.
• Provide proactive optimization and cross-functional communication.
