Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable in the United States seeks an experienced IT professional to join our remote-friendly team. The role covers identity & access management, endpoint engineering, automation, cloud integrations, and security, with a focus on scalable, secure operations.

You will own IAM, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC across Google Workspace, manage endpoints via NinjaOne or equivalent MDM, and collaborate with security for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support with Systems Administrator/IT Engineering experience
• Degree in Tech/Info Systems or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness
• Certifications: AWS SysOps Admin or Google Workspace Admin (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC
• Manage full user lifecycle: onboarding, access changes, offboarding
• Design and enforce security policies including least-privilege, conditional access, MFA
• Translate business access requirements into secure, scalable configurations
• Own Windows/macOS endpoint management using NinjaOne or similar
• Automate provisioning, patching, and software deployment
• Improve device visibility, health monitoring, and remediation workflows
• Design and maintain BYOD policies and conditional access controls
• Build automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline IT ops
• Support AI tool adoption to reduce manual IT effort
• Create and maintain runbooks and standards
