Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable is seeking a seasoned IT Engineer to lead Identity & Access Management, endpoint security, and cloud automation. You will own Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM, and RBAC while maintaining Windows/macOS devices using NinjaOne or similar tools.

The role emphasizes secure configurations, least-privilege access, and proactive automation across cloud services and on-prem resources. A strong background in IAM and scripting is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support or Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Degree in Tech/Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 readiness.
• AWS SysOps or Google Workspace Admin certifications preferred.
• Deep expertise in IAM, Google Workspace, and cloud-first design.

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Manage full user lifecycle: onboarding, access changes, offboarding.
• Design and enforce security policies including least-privilege, MFA, and conditional access.
• Translate business access needs into secure, scalable configurations.
• Own Windows and macOS endpoint management using NinjaOne or similar.
• Enforce device compliance, hardening policies, and lifecycle management.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and software deployment via scripting.
• Improve device visibility, health monitoring, and remediation workflows.
• Maintain BYOD policies and conditional access controls.
• Build automation to reduce manual IT work and standardize operations.
• Support AI tools adoption safely and at scale.
• Create runbooks and clear technical guides for the team.
