Job summary

Wendy's seeks an Engineer of Cloud Foundations to design and maintain foundational cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will enable automation, IAM controls, and platform governance while partnering with FinOps and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure services.

Primarily remote with occasional travel to the Dublin, OH RSC or other locations as needed. Strong foundation in Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud security is required; experience with cost optimization is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced cloud certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Enforce cloud security governance (IAM, encryption, policy enforcement).
• Monitor, optimize cost, reliability, and performance of cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with FinOps, data engineering, and product teams; document and share knowledge.
