Job summary

The Wendy’s Company is seeking an Engineer of Cloud Foundations to design, deploy, and secure foundational cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role emphasizes automation, governance, and collaboration with FinOps and engineering teams.

You will work remotely, with travel up to 10% to the Wendy’s RSC in Dublin, OH as needed. Competitive base pay with a potential bonus and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering across at least two cloud providers.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools; Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy foundational multi-cloud infrastructure including networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub workflows for scalable deployments.
• Enforce cloud security with RBAC, policies, and audit logging; ensure compliance.
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost; collaborate with product and platform teams.
• Collaborate with FinOps, data engineering, and product teams to meet evolving needs.
• Document cloud foundation architecture and mentor engineers on best practices.
