Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking an Engineer of Cloud Foundations to design and deploy core cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will automate with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, enforce security controls, and partner with FinOps and engineering teams to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on IaC, CI/CD tool experience, cloud security knowledge, and strong collaboration skills to support Wendy's continued growth as a leading brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering across two cloud providers.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, policy enforcement and cloud governance.
• Experience with monitoring, observability and cloud cost optimization tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy foundational cloud components across multi‑cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD workflows.
• Implement cloud security, IAM controls, policy enforcement, and auditing.
• Monitor, optimize cost and performance; drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with FinOps, data engineering, and product teams.
