Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Corporate Cloud Services Team. You will design and optimize cloud infrastructure, automate operations, and ensure scalability and security across our cloud environment.

The role demands hands-on cloud experience with automation, strong security awareness, and familiarity with compliance frameworks. You will collaborate with hosting and business partners and contribute to documentation, incident response, and knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience.
7+ years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
5+ years of system administration experience.
4+ years of practical Public Cloud hosting and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

Work with hosting and divisional resources to develop and implement automation around cloud-based infrastructure as a service.
Work with business partners to design and implement new product solutions and processes for use in the cloud.
Maintain compliance and provide evidence for audit standards.
Maintain a written knowledgebase for long-term monitoring and maintenance tasks.
Provide incident and outage response to meet Tyler SLAs.
Prepare and maintain documentation on operations tool sets and cross-train personnel.
Follow industry best practices for change management processes.
