Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Cloud Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in cloud architecture, engineering and operations
• At least 4 years in a senior or lead Cloud Architect role
• Experience designing hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) at enterprise scale
• Proven expertise with Generative AI infrastructure and RAG pipelines
• Hands-on with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, Ansible
• Strong cloud networking background: VPCs, VNets, subnets, gateways, private links
• Experience with security/compliance: SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, FedRAMP
• Observability stacks: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Operations, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK
• Cost optimization and DR/BC planning
• Excellent collaboration and communication; US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise technology vision with long-term blueprints and engineering standards
• Design scalable, secure hybrid cloud architectures across platforms
• Architect and manage core cloud networking components (VPCs, VNets, subnets, gateways)
• Implement IaC for provisioning and configuration management
• Implement comprehensive cloud security controls and compliance frameworks
• Develop processes to optimize cost and utilization and monitor DR planning
• Set up monitoring/logging/observability with modern stacks
• Collaborate across Network, Security, Dev, and Ops teams on cloud projects
• Support disaster recovery, high availability and business continuity strategies
• Maintain ongoing alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, OR related field

Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
