Job summary

Leidos seeks a skilled Cloud Architect / Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with IaC, cloud networking, and security/compliance, along with collaboration across networks, security, and operations teams in a fast-paced hybrid/multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 12+ years of cloud experience.
• 12+ years in cloud architecture with at least 4 years in a senior/lead role.
• Experience designing hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on IaC expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term cloud strategy and engineering standards.
• Design scalable, secure, hybrid cloud architectures.
• Architect and manage core cloud networking components (VPCs, VNets, gateways).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning.
• Lead cost optimization and disaster recovery planning.
