Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Cloud Architect – Services to support ACF modernization for a federal client. The role is remote and requires ability to obtain a Public Trust. Translate security requirements into practical cloud architectures and automation.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end cloud solutions, enforcing standards, guiding migrations, and collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years IT infra/cloud experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture.
• Experience designing on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Cloud-migration strategies: lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud-service and infra solutions for performance, security, resilience, and cost.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of cloud services and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations to integrate cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud-architecture documentation and reference patterns.
• Support FedRAMP, StateRAMP, SOC2 compliance workflows.
• Participate in COOP, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
• Assist ESOC modernization initiatives and cloud strategy.
