Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions seeks a Senior Azure Engineer to join a focused team supporting Azure cloud services for a federal agency undergoing modernization and migration. The role requires strong Azure expertise, automation focus, and the ability to communicate complex decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Active Secret clearance or higher is required, with Top Secret preferred. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or higher.
• Significant Azure cloud engineering experience.
• Experience in or supporting a federal government IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure Cloud service offerings at various security levels.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, engineers, and security engineers to build roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Create and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Salt, Chef, CloudFormation.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Document solutions and develop implementation plans for Azure access and usage.
• Support Agile practices and drive automation initiatives across the team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
