Job summary

HealthEdge in the United States seeks an Application Services Engineer to install and upgrade HealthEdge applications across private cloud, AWS, and customer-hosted instances.

You will join a SaaS-focused team managing deployments, automation, alerting, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to learn the HealthEdge Deployment Methodology and collaborate across multi-time-zone environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in deployment or solutions engineering or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related disciplines or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in healthcare industry and familiarity with Blue Card is highly desirable.
• Interest in deployment and automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Engineering mindset focused on designing and improving processes.
• Basic Linux abilities and familiarity with SQL/PL-SQL.
• AWS experience is desirable; familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ability to interact with senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and learn new technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and shell scripting expertise.
• Occasional off-hours work; production upgrades may occur.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and development expertise in technologies used to run HealthRules SaaS Operations in Private and Public cloud (AWS).
• Executes all assignments timely and within quality expectations.
• Collaborates with team members and seeks help when needed to resolve issues.
• Documents learnings and shares knowledge with the team; acts as a team player.
• Performs functions per HealthEdge policies, including handling health care information.
• Contributes to creative problem solving and works with leadership on solutions.
