Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking a Clinical Trials Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of trials across our site network. You will lead start-up, activation, and ongoing performance while coordinating with Sponsors, CROs, and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in clinical research, familiarity with ICH-GCP, and experience with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave and Oracle InForm. Up to 30% travel and a remote work setup are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related field.
• 3+ years of clinical research experience, including at least 2 years in a PM/CTM/Lead CRC role.
• Experience with a clinical research network, CRO, or sponsor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements governing clinical trials.
• Proficiency with clinical trial systems, including EDC platforms (Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm) and eTMF.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, CCRP, CCRA, or other project management/clinical research certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trial execution across the site network, overseeing start-up, activation, and ongoing performance.
• Assess protocol feasibility and support study planning, including resources, budget, and recruitment strategy.
• Drive study start-up timelines and coordinate with Regulatory, Contracts, Budget for site activation.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison for Sponsors and CROs with regular progress updates.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, and enrollment targets.
• Monitor site metrics and implement strategies to optimize study performance.
• Coordinate monitoring visits, audits, and investigator meetings.
• Support regulatory and compliance activities, including IRB submissions and safety reporting.
• Act as a central resource for site teams and drive timely solutions.
