TEKsystems is seeking a Clinical Terminology Specialist (Mid-Level) to help stand up a terminology services platform. You will work with business and technical teams to ensure consistent use of clinical vocabularies and coding standards in healthcare data across systems.

The role emphasizes governance, documentation, training, and knowledge management as part of a new initiative to build foundational terminology capabilities from the ground up. Remote contract position in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare coding systems and vocabulary standards.
• Ability to develop technical and operational documentation.
• Experience supporting healthcare interoperability, data standardization, or information management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Terminology & Data Standards: Support enterprise terminology services and maintain mappings, value sets, and terminology standards across systems.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Create SOPs, process docs, user guides, knowledge bases, and training materials; establish a terminology knowledge repository.
