Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Clinical Terminology Specialist (Mid-Level) to help establish a new terminology services program. You will work with business and technical teams to ensure consistent vocabularies across healthcare data and analytics initiatives.

Ideal candidates will create governance, training materials, SOPs, and knowledge repositories, while partnering with implementation teams to drive successful adoption and interoperability outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare informatics, terminology management, or related field.
• Experience with healthcare vocabularies and coding standards.
• Experience developing technical and operational documentation.
• Exposure to interoperability initiatives and data standardization.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and govern enterprise terminology services.
• Develop mappings, value sets, and vocabulary standards.
• Create SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
• Deliver training to stakeholders and staff.
• Collaborate with business, data teams, and partners.
• Support rollout, testing, and operational readiness.
