Job summary

DNV’s Healthcare Division is seeking a Clinical Surveyor to assess healthcare providers nationwide. This role can be remote within the Continental U.S. and requires travel up to 100% for site surveys and audits.

The position involves evaluating compliance with ISO 9001, NIAHO, and related standards, preparing reports on nonconformities, and collaborating with clinical teams to drive improvements. Strong communication and five years of healthcare experience are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO medical licensure required for Physician Surveyor.
• RN (BSN) license required for Nurse Surveyor.
• Minimum five years healthcare experience in risk/quality management.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the healthcare survey team ensuring provider compliance with DNV guidelines and standards.
• Survey healthcare organizations across the United States.
• Assess compliance with ISO principles and applicable standards using analysis and reasoning.
• Prepare management reports on nonconformities and potential risks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to identify improvement opportunities.
