Job summary

DNV's Healthcare Division is seeking a Senior Generalist Surveyor to independently survey healthcare providers across the United States, with up to 100% travel to client sites. The role emphasizes applying ISO 9001 quality management and NIAHO accreditation standards to improve safety and performance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in healthcare risk or quality management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and producing timely reports.
• Ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 100% (overnight stays possible).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air/ground.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the healthcare survey team ensuring provider compliance with DNV guidelines and instructions.
• Survey healthcare organizations across the United States.
• Apply analysis to determine compliance with standards and ISO principles.
• Prepare management reports linked to nonconformities and risks.
• Communicate with healthcare staff to discuss standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor other survey team members where applicable.
• Attend scheduled educational calls and complete ongoing training.
• Engage in other DNV activities as assigned.
