Job summary

Wings of the Future Nfp is seeking a Remote Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and professional development for therapists, counselors, and other behavioral health providers.

The role ensures ethical, trauma-informed, and compliant services, with leadership to guide case conceptualization, treatment planning, and risk assessment while maintaining high-quality client care in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC/LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Authorization or board-approved status to supervise in the state(s) served.
• At least three years of post-licensure clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, consultation, training, or mentorship.
• Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, ethics, confidentiality, and mandated reporting.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise remotely with professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with EHRs, secure video platforms, and other virtual tools.
• Access to private, secure workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
• Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision via secure video conferencing.
• Review cases, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation for quality and compliance.
• Guide clinicians in case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and referrals.
• Monitor supervisees’ performance, documentation, productivity, conduct, and progress toward goals.
• Provide timely, specific feedback to strengthen clinical skills and ethics.
• Assist supervisees in developing professional-development and CE plans.
• Support clinicians in complex cases, mandated reporting, and emergencies.
• Ensure supervision occurs within education, training, licensure, and scope of practice.
• Maintain confidential records of supervision sessions and evaluations.
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, intake, billing, credentialing, and QA teams.
• Participate in audits, training, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Promote a trauma-informed workplace culture and ethical practice.
• Remain current on evidence-based practices and telehealth requirements.
