  • Establish therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, cultural humility, appropriate boundaries, and respect.

  • Maintain an active professional license, professional liability insurance, and all required continuing-education hours.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, professional, and therapeutic office environment.
  • Notify leadership promptly of client emergencies, safety concerns, scheduling problems, or facility issues.
  • Remain informed about evidence-based treatment, documentation standards, professional ethics, and applicable behavioral health laws.
Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing psychotherapy, counseling, or other behavioral health services.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, crisis response, confidentiality, and mandated-reporting requirements.
  • Ability to practice independently and within the scope of the clinician’s professional license.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, scheduling systems, email, and other required clinical technology.
  • Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed care.
