Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures and independently cover cases while training surgical teams on safe device use. The role involves collaborating with surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with hospital policies.

The position supports multiple territories across the U.S. and requires willingness to travel. You will also assist in physician and staff education and contribute to the company’s clinical excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• Clinical OR experience in operative settings.
• Fluoroscopy experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 90% (car travel)
• Valid US driver’s license and compliance with vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Train surgical team on instrument prep and case support.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of perioperative practices and hospital policies.
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource.
• Demonstrate professional interactions with hospital staff.
• Prepare and maintain equipment/kits for surgery; perform QC audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment per procedures.
• Provide intraoperative clinical product support.
• Ensure inventory receipt matches shipping documents; reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in physician and staff procedural training; contribute to clinical outcomes.
