Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. seeks a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures, train surgical teams, and provide clinical product support across the territory and beyond.

The role requires clinical experience in related fields, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage instrument preparation, inventory, and education programs. Extensive travel and close collaboration with the regional team are expected.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience such as scrub tech, X-ray tech, RN/BSN, or laser tech.
• Experience with perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital policies.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Train the surgical team to assist in patient outcomes and support cases during training.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical technology practice and hospital policies.
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource.
• Demonstrate appropriate interactions with hospital service providers.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and kits for surgery; perform quality audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedure.
• Provide intra-operative clinical product support.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile usage.
• Assist in procedural training to physicians and staff.
• Collaborate with commercial team and Account Set Up, engagement, and outcomes.
• Support education of APPs, office staff, and residency education.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on labeling and interactions with health care professionals.
• Review case presentations with Clinical Specialist teams.
