Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is recruiting a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures and train surgical teams in the safe use of our device. This role requires clinical experience and travel across the territory, region, or nation as assigned.

You will manage instrument prep, training, and inventory, while ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards. Ideal candidates have prior clinical exposure (Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN/BSN, Laser Tech) and are willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience such as Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, Laser Tech.
• Industry experience (1-3 years).
• Comfortable with the pace of a startup environment.
• Willingness to travel outside designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and support cases during training.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of perioperative surgical technology and hospital policies.
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource.
• Demonstrate appropriate interactions with hospital service providers.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and kits for surgery, including QC audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment per procedures.
• Provide intra-operative clinical product support.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
