Job summary

Merck is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to oversee end-to-end performance for assigned protocols across country operations, ensuring compliance with ICH GCP and local regulations. The role emphasizes project management, milestone delivery, and collaboration with CRA teams and external partners.

You will lead local study teams, manage risk, and coordinate with QA, PV, Regulatory, and GMA; travel up to 25%. This is a remote position with headquarters in Rahway, NJ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical research.
• Bachelor’s degree in science (or comparable).
• Advanced degree (e.g., Master, MD, PhD) preferred.
• CRA experience preferred.
• 3+ years of Oncology experience preferred.
• Study management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Main POC for assigned protocols and links between Country Operations and clinical trial team.
• Proactively plans, drives, and tracks execution and performance of deliverables/timelines to meet country commitments.
• Ensures compliance with ICH/GCP and country regulations, policies and procedures, quality standards and adverse event reporting.
