Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ seeks a Clinical Research Manager to lead end-to-end performance and project management for assigned protocols across countries in compliance with ICH/GCP and local regulations. This role acts as the main POC between Country Operations and clinical trial teams, driving feasibility, site selection, recruitment, execution and closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in clinical research, a Bachelor’s in science, and advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science (or comparable).
• 5+ years of experience in clinical research.
• Advanced degree preferred (e.g., Master, MD, PhD).

Responsibilities

• Main POC for assigned protocols and links between Country Operations and CTT.
• Responsible for project management of the assigned studies: feasibility, site selection, recruitment, execution and closeout.
• Accountable for performance in country in compliance with ICH/GCP and local regulations, policies and AE reporting.
• Reviews Monitoring Visit Reports and escalates performance issues to CRA/management as needed.
• Leads local study teams to high performance and coordinates activities across local country roles.
