Job summary

Rho is hiring a Clinical Research Associate II or Senior CRA with experience in monitoring pain studies to join our clinical monitoring team. You will perform and coordinate all aspects of clinical monitoring and site management per ICH-GCP and FDA guidelines, ensuring audit-ready data.

The role is remote within the United States, located within a 1-hour commute of a US metropolitan airport, with 8–10 site visits per month (up to 80% travel).

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life science or related field; 2 years CRA II on-site monitoring or 4–5+ years for Senior CRA.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EDC systems.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to communicate study progress.
• Attention to detail with high-quality scientific standards.
• Ability to manage multiple sites, timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Perform all site monitoring visit activities (PSV, SIV, IMV, COV).
• Participate in site selection with Clinical Team Lead oversight.
• Provide feedback and resolve site deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Contribute to protocols, study tools, and trial documentation.
• Mentor and co-monitor junior clinical team members.
• Maintain relationships with clinical sites and cross-functional teams.
• Attend and present at Investigator Meetings and meetings.
• Participate in RFP processes and business development meetings.
• Contribute to internal SOPs for clinical trials administration and monitoring.
• Perform onsite and remote monitoring and study closure activities across multiple protocols.
